As a service-driven component of our internal Documentation Department we can create any procedural guides that you need for any workflow or set of tools. These can include the use of InRoads, InRoads Survey, ProjectWise, MicroStation, AutoCAD, particular survey data collectors, or any aspect of the Civil industry such as drainage, profiling, plan & profile creation, sewer design.

These documents can take the form of:

  • Detail Guides - with very detailed explanations of the process tools and procedures. These typically contain many screen shots and both graphically, and textually describe what is required of the user, along with providing and explanation of other options along the way.

  • Workflow Guides - these are very similar to the Detail Guides in format; however these are written specifically to teach someone how to get from point 'A' to point 'B' within a design process. The amounts of explanation 'underneath' the tools of the workflow are only developed to match the needs of the clients' use.

  • Skeleton Quick Guides (or Mini-Guides) - these guides are very schematic guides built on a smaller booklet style formatting. It is intended to provide the key steps of a process or tool set for someone who may only need a gentle reminder about how to perform a specific task. These guides can be considered to be mini-workflow or mini-detail guides with only key illustrations and explanation required by someone who has already performed that particular process before.
