KnowledgeBase Consulting Group, LLC (Knowledgebase) was founded in 1998 by owner/president Kevin B. Fern. KnowledgeBase is a privately owned Southern California based company focused on providing companies and government agencies in the civil transportation, utilities, and power generation industries with integration solutions throughout their enterprise. KnowledgeBase was founded with the idea that companies and agencies would benefit greater from a consultant who has no direct interest or affiliations with any specific software provider or vendor, but an overall goal to provide solutions that best fit the organization’s needs. The KnowledgeBase objective is to provide a “grass roots” approach to each company’s processes by keying in on details and issues that affect all levels of the organization, from users to management. With this exposure KnowledgeBase can develop enterprise solutions with each organizations leadership teams. This team approach is at the heart of our ongoing success.
KnowledgeBase Consulting Group has established itself as a leader in the field of Solutions Integration, especially in the effective implementation of ProjectWise, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and vertical Bentley applications within these industries. Our years of direct on-site consulting coupled with our Bentley Systems and Autodesk background has given us the ability to provide in-depth consulting support services.
KnowledgeBase Consulting Group also authors the Knowledge is Power training curriculum book series consisting of ProjectWise User, ProjectWise Administrator, MicroStation Update and MicroStation CADD Administrator.
KnowledgeBase consists of staff members who have direct working experience in civil transportation design, utility, electrical, plant engineering, and food process design and packaging. Our members consist of application and software engineers previously employed with Bentley Systems Inc. Our company’s main focus is to provide Engineering EDMS standardization, development, training, and support to these organizations using best practice processes for all projects.
